Comet A3: Visible in the Sky

Comet A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), last seen 80,000 years ago, has been spotted streaking across the sky. Observers in the UK and the US captured images of the celestial visitor as it soared above the horizon.

The comet appeared as a bright streak of light, resembling a torch. Others reported seeing a trail in the sky, like that left by an airplane.

Experts predict the comet will be visible in the northern hemisphere until October 30th. It was previously seen in the southern hemisphere, with photographs taken in Spain, Italy, Uruguay, and Indonesia.

To observe Comet A3, experts recommend going out just after sunset, finding a high vantage point, and looking west towards the horizon. Binoculars or a telescope can enhance the view.
