Missed tackles plague Oklahoma’s defense in deflating performance against Texas

DALLAS – Oklahoma had an early blueprint for an upset against top-ranked Texas in the 120th Red River Rivalry. The Sooners forced a turnover on the Longhorns’ opening drive. The defense limited Texas to just nine plays and 13 total yards in the first quarter, and the offense managed to get points on the board-albeit not as many as OU had hoped – to claim a lead after the first 15 minutes.
