BALTIMORE – Temperatures today will climb into the lower 80s with sunshine and a gusty breeze. Winds of change begin Monday.
Expect plenty of sunshine on this Sunday with a big warm-up coming our way this afternoon. With an increasing southwesterly wind, we’ll see high temperatures climb into the lower 80s. These temperatures are over 10° above average. A south to southwesterly breeze will increase at 10 to 20 mph with occasional gusts to 25 mph. The weather looks warm and sunny for the Ravens game, so no weather issues!
A strong cold front will cross the area tonight. Ahead of it, we’ll see a mild breeze out of the southwest. This will keep temperatures in the 60s for a good chunk of the night. Clouds will thicken from the west and there’s an outside chance of a brief sprinkle or shower after midnight through the predawn hours Monday. Lows tonight will be in the upper 50s & lower 60s.
Winds will howl on Monday. Early morning sunshine will mix with clouds and gusty winds will quickly ramp up late Monday morning into the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower to middle 60s. Winds will gust 30 to 35 mph.
