At the end of a crazy 8-day stretch with 5 games, the Portland Winterhawks get a taste of their own medicine. Having won a number of games with 3rd-period rallies and while getting outshot, they outshot the Seattle Thunderbirds but gave up a 3rd-period rally to lose 6-5. They end their road trip at 2-2 the roundabout way, shocking BC-division leading Prince George twice (three times counting last Saturday at home) and then losing to Kelowna and Seattle, who came into their respective games 4-10.
