Early Friday morning, DeKalb County firefighters contained a blaze at a local Kroger grocery store. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on the 2300 block of Wesley Chapel Road. According to the fire department, they responded to a call about smoke seen on the backside of the store and discovered that a trash fire outside had escalated to the grocery store’s roof, as first reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
