JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – It’s mid-October and we’re expecting 90 degrees this afternoon. Our normal high should be 80. In Jackson, our record for this date is 96, but some of you may see some records being challenged, especially in the Delta region. Yazoo City’s on the books with 94, Greenville at 93, even Vicksburg’s standing record of 94…so it won’t take much to at least tie those records. The wait for cooler temperatures won’t be long, though.
