HOUSTON – Rodrigo López, founder of López Mexican Restaurant, has passed away after a months-long health battle, according to a social media post from the restaurant. “To all who knew him, Mr. López was the heart and soul of López Mexican Restaurant. And that’s because he put his heart and soul into building it,” a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page said.
