Lions Suffer Major Defensive Loss
The Detroit Lions’ victory over the Dallas Cowboys came with a significant setback on defense. Star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson suffered a severe leg injury in the third quarter.
Gruesome Injury
Hutchinson went down after sacking Dak Prescott, but his leg bent awkwardly when it collided with teammate Alim McNeill. The gruesome nature of the injury caused a lengthy delay in the game.
Team Update
The Lions immediately ruled Hutchinson out with a lower leg injury. Coach Dan Campbell later revealed that Hutchinson suffered a broken tibia. The Pro Bowler will remain in Dallas for further evaluation.
