In the early hours of October 13th, law enforcement officers from neighboring jurisdictions embarked on a vehicle pursuit that continued into Brooklyn Park. The chase, which began at approximately 3:11 am, resulted in the vehicle being abandoned by the suspect within a wooded area at the southeast corner of the Highway 252/Highway 610 interchange, as reported by the Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert. Police units coordinated a perimeter and deployed a variety of search tactics including a drone, K-9 unit, and aircraft from the MN State Patrol in an attempt to locate the suspect.
