COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Those temperatures today trending a few degrees warmer than Saturday. Many areas struggled to get below mid 50s this morning, and those afternoon temperatures warmed quite nicely.
Monday: A strong cold front arriving Monday will bring colder weather over the next few days. Expect gusts to reach up to 30mph Monday. Morning lows will be warmer tomorrow morning ahead of the front, but as it moves through, many areas will struggle to get out of the 60s.
Rest of the School Week: Tuesday morning, temperatures will drop into the mid-upper 40s. By Wednesday expect morning lows in the lower 40s, and even a few 30s will be possible. Afternoon highs will only get into the mid 60s. These chilly morning readings will continue through the end of the school week.
Next Weekend: High pressure will move back into the forecast, meaning “warmer” weather by next weekend. Lows will be back in the 50s and highs in the upper 70s.
