TROY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Downtown Troy Chowderfest returned on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Local restaurants got the chance to show off their finest chowders and attendees were able to sample the chowders for $2 each before voting for their favorite at the end.

There was a first, second, and third place winner for this year’s festival. Bootleggers on Broadway came in first with its roasted poblano and sausage chowder, then The Ruck came in second with its smoked salmon chowder, and in third, Dotty Lou’s BBQ with the brisket chowder.
