Vehicle set ablaze during Oakland sideshow Sunday

( KRON ) — A vehicle was set on fire during an illegal sideshow in Oakland early Sunday morning, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Oakland officers responded at around 2 a.m. to the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard on a report of sideshow activity involving multiple vehicles and spectators, police said. Arriving authorities saw the vehicles and spectators begin to disperse.

Oakland Fire Department firefighters assisted in extinguishing a vehicle fire at the scene, police said.

No arrests were announced by Oakland PD.
