CeeDee Lamb Bluntly Addresses Cowboys’ Struggles After Blowout Loss to Lions

Everything that could have gone wrong for the Dallas Cowboys in a Week 6 loss to the Detroit Lions did. The 47-9 home trouncing handed down by Dan Campbell’s squad was every bit as ugly as the score looked.

The Cowboys entered the matchup coming off two road victories against the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers, with the arrow seemingly pointing upward. That momentum was quickly erased by halftime, with the team trailing 27-6 — and it only got worse.

While it’s tough to take a glass-half-full approach heading into a bye week following a 38-point home loss, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb attempted to offer some optimism.

The Cowboys star told the team’s official website that the Cowboys would “be fine,” but was blunt about the need to find the end zone while in the red zone.

“The bye week most definitely will help,” said Lamb. “And things that we’ve missed on are very small things, and I know I say that every week or that we’ll be fine, but I know we will. Again, we just got to capitalize on the small mistakes. We’ve got to score.
