Alabama fans of Judge Greg Mathis, known for his tough love on the bench, have a reason to smile as the beloved TV judge is working on bringing some of that same tough love into his personal life.
Back in August 2024, Mathis’ wife, Linda Mathis, filed for divorce, leaving many shocked. However, the judge recently opened up about their relationship, expressing confidence that they are on the path to reconciliation.
In a candid interview with TMZ on October 10, 2024, Judge Mathis shared that the couple has been doing well in recent weeks. He reassured fans with a hopeful message saying, “We will be reconciled shortly.”
The judge didn’t shy away from admitting that he hadn’t been making Linda a priority in their marriage. In response to this, Mathis made a major change—he’s staying home and focusing on his relationship. He explained that he has cut out the activities that used to keep him away from their marriage. “It’ll take a few more months for me to stay home,” Mathis said. “I haven’t left home since the time I got in trouble with her. I put off all my speaking engagements around the country, so, I’m home.”
