Kentucky woman accused of cooking mother had an ‘alternate identity’

MOUNT OLIVET, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — As the investigation into a Kentucky mother’s gruesome death unfolds, we’ve continued to learn more about the woman allegedly responsible .

Torilena May Fields , 32, was arrested on Oct. 9 after an 11-hour standoff with Kentucky State Police. Court documents detail that her arrest came after the mutilated, decapitated, eviscerated, and dismembered body of her mother, Trudy Fields , was discovered at the Brierly Ridge Road home.

“So it’s, you know, it’s just one of the things that kind of comes out of left field and shocks you. It really turned my stomach because, I mean, it’s so barbaric and gruesome.”

However, many knew her by another name; Naomi Navarre. On Monday, we’re learning more about the life Fields lived in California under the alias.

Who is Torilena Fields?

“We see a little girl with classic blond curls playing the piano. She was an amazing piano player,” Olivia Brock, Fields’ cousin told FOX 56. “She had the chickens, and, I mean, she grew up around horses, sports. I mean just a country girl. Like I said, bouncy little blond curls.”
