Horry Co. residents react to installation of additional security cameras at Market Common

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) – Security cameras have increased around the Market Common area. It’s all part of Myrtle Beach Police Department’s initiative to reduce crime. “We have cameras as part of our real-time crime center, they’re all around Myrtle Beach so we have our infrastructure around Market Common. As our city grows, our infrastructure for our cameras, our real-time crime have to as well,” said Randolph Angotti, Myrtle Beach Police Public Information Officer.
