Good news on Will Pauling
Junior receiver Will Pauling left the game Saturday in the third quarter with what was called an upper-body injury. Fickell said Monday that Pauling was checked for a concussion but didn’t have one or any other major injury.
That said, Fickell noted that it’s too early in the week to know Pauling’s status for the game this week.
Pauling took a hard shot from linebacker Dariel Djabome after making a 7-yard grab across the middle. Pauling fumbled and didn’t make a move to recover the ball before Rutgers players got there.
