Incredible photos: Comet seen once every 80,000 years spotted streaking across Carolina skies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Less than a week after the northern lights appeared overhead, another celestial sight made an appearance over the Carolinas. Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, which NASA said is visible from Earth once every 80,000 years, streaked across the sky over the past few nights, with viewers in both North and South Carolina capturing incredible photos.
