Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, is holding campaign events in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania Tuesday, with just three weeks left until the election.
His visit to western Pennsylvania will primarily focus on reaching rural voters, including outlining policy priorities focused on health care, economy and agriculture, the campaign revealed to The Associated Press.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index shows Vice President Harris, Walz’s running mate, with a razor-thin edge over former President Trump — 48.6 percent to 48.3 percent — in the battleground state , likely within the margin of error.
Walz will also visit Butler County, Pa., and Pittsburgh Tuesday afternoon.
His remarks from Valmont, Pa., are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
