North Carolina woman arrested after stealing $100 scratch off ticket in Little River, SLED says

LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Carolina woman was arrested Sunday after she stole a $100 scratch off ticket from a Little River gas station in June, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Dedriana Bryant, 30, of Longwood, was arrested after she allegedly turned in a lottery ticket that was stolen from a Little River Refuel gas station on June 24, a warrant said. She then turned the ticket in at a Circle K, also in Little River, and took the cash prize.

Bryant is facing two counts of intent to defraud, a news release said. She is being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $2,000 bond for these charges. Online jail records show she is also being held on a $4,000 bond for shoplifting.
