Hillsborough County, in collaboration with the National Guard, has opened a comfort station at the Progress Village Senior Center, according to the county’s official website. This initiative provides support for those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Located at 8701 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619, the comfort station began welcoming visitors yesterday and will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until the county issues an all-clear, as stated in the county’s press release.
