ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Anchorage police are asking motorists to stay away from several blocks in Northeast Anchorage as it investigates a shooting. “At 7:30 AM on October 15, 2024, Anchorage Police are investigating a shooting in the area of E 6th Avenue and San Juan Circle; there is a large police presence in the area. Please use another route,” the Anchorage Police Department wrote.
