Bobcat Bonnie’s temporarily suspends operations in Ypsilanti amid union efforts

YPSILANTI, MI — Bobcat Bonnie’s in downtown Ypsilanti has temporarily suspended its operations following recent unionization efforts from its employees. The restaurant at 200 W. Michigan Ave. is currently closed, but Bobcat Bonnie’s Owner Matt Buskard said he is hopeful the business will reopen by the weekend of Oct. 18-20. The restaurant’s basement social bar Keystone Bar & Arcade has also cancelled all of its events for the week, according to Buskard in an email shared publicly on social media.
