Forbes Magazine compiled a list of best places to work in the U.S. and Georgia was represented fairly well with three Columbus-based employers making the cut .
Forbes enlisted the research firm, Statista to survey more than 16,000 workers employed at companies of 500 or more employees. Responses came in from all 50 states and Washington D.C.
Companies that received the highest scores based on the below criteria made the list.

Evaluate the employers you’ve worked for within the last two years.

Rate organizations they knew within their industry or through friends or family who worked there.
The list includes a mix of national corporations, regional companies and Georgia-based organizations across various industries.
Forbes explains its methodology as such , “Greater weight was given to more recent data and to the responses from their current employees within the state. Companies that received the highest scores in each state made our list, with each state ranking between three and 101 employers, depending on the size of the state and the number of responses received.”
