Woman dies after getting hit by vehicle in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A woman died after she was hit by a vehicle in Clinton early Tuesday morning, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).

Police said on Oct. 15, just after 6 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the Piscataway Road and Surratts Village Drive area.

There, officers found a woman lying in the road.

She died at the scene.

PGPD said the driver stayed at the crash site and investigators were working to determine what caused the collision.

As of Tuesday morning, the woman’s name was not yet released.
