California Highway Patrol nails bright yellow sports car clocked at 106 MPH on the Grapevine

Fort Tejon, Calif. – Officers from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Fort Tejon station recently pulled over a vehicle on the Grapevine for speeding at an alarming 106 mph. Speeding remains one of the leading causes of traffic accidents, and driving at such high speeds significantly increases the risk of crashes.

The CHP emphasizes that excessive speed not only reduces a driver’s ability to react to hazards but also intensifies the impact of any potential collisions. The department urges all motorists to slow down, follow posted speed limits, and prioritize safety to help keep California’s roads safe for everyone, the CHP stated.
