PITTSFORD, Vt. – Nine animals, including a dog and eight cats, are currently up for adoption at the Rutland County Humane Society after being transported from southern U.S. shelters. One of the dogs transported has already been adopted. The Humane Society says they partnered with BISSELL Pet Foundation to help make space for shelters that are taking in displaced animals from Hurricane Helene.
