US Delivers $425 Million Military Aid to Ukraine

The US has authorized $425 million in military aid to Ukraine to bolster its defense against Russian aggression. This is the 67th aid package approved by President Biden since August 2021.

The aid includes various weapons and equipment to enhance Ukraine’s air defense, artillery, and anti-tank capabilities. This includes anti-aircraft missiles, artillery shells, rocket munitions, and Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems.

Joint Efforts and Coordination

The US will continue to collaborate with allies and partners to provide Ukraine with the necessary military support. President Biden met with Ukrainian President Zelensky to discuss ongoing support and intensify security assistance planning.

Meeting of Ukraine Defense Contract Group

Biden has scheduled a virtual meeting with leaders of nations participating in the Ukraine Defense Contract Group. This meeting aims to coordinate additional military assistance for Ukraine.

Zelensky’s Plan for Victory

Ukrainian President Zelensky has outlined a five-point plan for Ukrainian forces to defeat Russia and end the war by 2025. The US and its allies remain committed to supporting Ukraine’s efforts to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
