One dead at Oklahoma City metro gas station, police say

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – Oklahoma City Police are investigating after someone died at a metro gas station Friday morning.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to the gas station near Wilshire Blvd. and Council Rd. around 3 a.m. regarding a welfare check.

Upon arrival, they found the gas station’s clerk critically injured. They later died, prompting a homicide investigation.

“I just know it’s injuries consistent with homicide,” said SSgt. Dillon Quirk with OKCPD.

Officials say police are still looking for suspects in this case.

“No suspect information at this time,” added Quirk. “I don’t know if it’s one person, multiple people, um, so we’re still working all through that.”

Anyone with information is asked to call OKC Police. No more information is available as the investigation continues.
