After blocking contribution limits, most conservatives lag in fundraising

This year’s election cycle will be the second where candidates can raise unlimited amounts of money from individual contributions after a federal judge struck down limits. Efforts to restore some kind of limit with automatic adjustments for inflation have stalled in the Alaska Legislature despite bipartisan interest after they ran headlong into opposition from Republican Gov. Mike Dunleavy and his conservative allies in the Legislature.
