California School Requires Students to Scan QR Codes to Access Bathrooms: ‘It’s Insane’

Students at a California high school have expressed concerns about having to scan a QR code in order to use the bathroom, reports say. According to a new policy implemented at Edison High School for the 2024-25 school year, students are required to download an app and scan a QR code in order to receive a digital hall pass to go to the bathroom at school.
