Masked gunman robs Fresno 7-Eleven, police say

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A 7-Eleven store in Fresno was robbed early Friday morning by a suspect wearing a ski mask and brandishing a gun, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Officers say they were dispatched shortly after 3 a.m. to the 7-Eleven store at 722 N. Blackstone Avenue, just north of Highway 180. The cashier told officers that a man with a gun and wearing a ski mask demanded money and cigarettes. The cashier gave the suspect what he wanted and the suspect fled the scene.

According to police, the suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing and left the scene on foot. There was no one else in the store at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
