PHOENIX – Two people were shot in west Phoenix Friday night. One of the victims later died, according to Phoenix police. Officers were called to a neighborhood near 83rd Avenue and Camelback Road around 7 p.m. Friday for reports of a shooting. Officers learned when they arrived that a person who had been shot was taken to a nearby hospital by family members.
