LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office took into custody Dezseray Lynn Rios, 31, after a police chase near the South Loop 289 and University Avenue Friday evening.
According to LCSO, the chase lasted about five minutes and ended with Rios colliding with another vehicle at the intersection.
Rios was then transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of Possession of a controlled substance PG 1, Possession of Marijuana, Evading Arrest or Detention in a Vehicle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and outstanding class c warrants.
The driver of the car that Rios hit was not injured during the incident.
