The Twin Cities costumes contests where you can strut your stuff this Halloween

There’s a problem with Halloween . It’s taken over the entire month of October with horror movies , two-story yard skeletons, and the spooky-season-ification of everything.

That’s not the problem, though. If you spend days, weeks even, on a showstopping costume, well, Halloween is still just one day of the year. After all that work, it’s reasonable to want to show it off more than once. Fortunately, costume-loving revelers can do just that.

Show off your zombie gore, pet costumes, or Japanese-style “mundane Halloween” creations, at these Twin Cities costume contests in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
