Work has commenced on a significant addition to Coon Rapids’ infrastructure, with construction crews breaking ground on a new $4.6 million pedestrian bridge aimed at enhancing public safety. Spanning over Coon Rapids Boulevard, the bridge is not just a walkway, but a crucial element of the Coon Creek Regional Trail system, which is envisaged to link Zilla Street to its southwest side.
