Last month, The Junior League of Owensboro continued its fight against hygiene poverty with another wildly successful and productive Free Laundry Day. That event was held on Saturday, September 21st at AC Discount Laundry on Time Drive here in town. According to Junior League of Owensboro President Jennifer Vogel, the event was “packed” and over $1300 in quarters were given out so families could do their laundry- for FREE. The event was incredibly popular, well-attended, and well-received. There’s another already planned for next month.
