MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police are investigating 20 shell casings being found on the city’s east side Sunday night.
MPD said officers were dispatched to the area of Swanton Road and North Thompson Drive around 10:50 p.m. after multiple people reported hearing shots fired.
A stray bullet damaged the outside wall of an apartment building. No injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made.
The Violent Crime Unit is investigating this shooting.
