INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting on the east side of Indianapolis left one person dead Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of North Drexel Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD has confirmed that the victim has been pronounced dead.
