Illinois waited a long time to get a win over Michigan. On Saturday, the Illini finally got back in the win column against the Wolverines in rather impressive fashion. After building a 14-point lead in the 2nd half, the Illini defense went to work. Some key turnovers, a blocked field goal and big-time stops allowed Bret Bielema to deliver a signature win for his program after narrowly missing a win in the Big House in 2022.
