Free Press Marathon Runner Collapses and Dies

Detroit Free Press Marathon has traditionally been a festive event marked by personal achievements. But there was some tragedy Sunday when a 57-year-old-man collapsed and died in the fifth mile during a stretch in Canada in the 26.2-mile race, the Freep reports. The race starts in Detroit and crosses over the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor before finishing in Detroit.
