The city of Indianapolis witnessed a gun violence yesterday evening, resulting in at least one confirmed fatality. A person was fatally shot in the 100 block of North Oxford Avenue on the east side of the city. According to a report by WISH-TV, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers were dispatched to the scene at around 10:24 p.m. following reports of a person shot in a residential area. They found a victim suffering gunshot wounds who was initially listed in critical condition before being pronounced dead.
