West Houston – According to Houston Police, a man was flagged down by a woman he knew along Westheimer around 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. Investigators say the man got into the woman’s vehicle to speak with her. Investigators said there was armed man hiding in the backseat underneath of a blanket. Investigators say the two men got into a fight and the armed man started shooting, striking the other man in the leg. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
