The case of Anthony Shea, the former Orange County deputy accused of the murder of his estranged wife, Lt. Ellie Shea, has taken a convoluted turn as he failed to appear for his first court date on Saturday. According to FOX 35 Orlando, Anthony Shea, who is facing a charge of first-degree murder, was arrested after investigators found Lt. Shea with a fatal gunshot wound in her bedroom. They believed that Anthony murdered her and then tried to stage her death as a suicide, sending text messages from her phone to fabricate an alibi.
