Kamala Harris Addresses Atlanta Church

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris visited New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Georgia on her 60th birthday. She urged attendees to practice compassion and respect in their daily lives.

“Souls to the Polls” Campaign

Harris’s visit was part of the “Souls to the Polls” campaign, which encourages Black churchgoers to vote. Pastor Jamal Bryant praised Harris as “an American hero” and welcomed the idea of a woman president.

Harris’s Message

Harris spoke about the parable of the Good Samaritan, emphasizing the importance of loving strangers. She criticized those who spread division and hate, saying that true leaders uplift others.

Harris stressed that it’s not enough to simply talk about values but to live them. She ended her speech with a message of hope and resilience, saying that joy will come after times of difficulty.
