Louisiana law enforcement agencies to host Drug Take Back Day events

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — Residents across Southeast Louisiana can bring their expired or unwanted prescription medications to Drug Take Back Day events on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that it is participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Drug Take Back Day, which offers “a great chance for residents to responsibly dispose of old medications, keeping them out of the reach of children who might misuse them or criminals who could sell them illegally.”
