CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – High pressure is set to stay in full control this week, bringing us lots of sunshine and a comfortable feel to the air! While we are still anticipating another cool night (40s inland, with 50s near the coast), temperatures will continue to moderate through the next several afternoons as high pressure begins to slide eastward. Plan for afternoon highs to climb to near 80° on Monday; low 80s will become commonplace Tuesday and Wednesday, while Thursday’s highs could reach the mid 80s in spots.
