NEAR RECORD WARMTH WITH DRY SOUTHWEST BREEZES

It’s going to be an unseasonably warm late-October day. High temperatures this afternoon will soar into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. This is just shy of many of today’s record highs across northeast Wisconsin. In case you’re wondering, Green Bay’s record high today is 81 degrees, set back on this date in 1953. Our unusual warmth is being caused by high pressure aloft and breezy southwest winds.
