New Orleans events: Po-boy Fest, Treme Fest, Japan Fest and more coming up Oct. 21-27

Oak Street restaurants and vendors from across the city serve traditional and creative po-boys at Po-Boy Fest. There are six music stages along Oak Street between S. Carrollton Avenue and Eagle Street. The lineup includes Shantytown Underground, Mia Borders, Kid Chocolate, Eric Johanson and more. There’s also a Saints game watching area, a kids’ zone and an art market. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27. Admission is free, but attendees must purchase a wristband to buy sandwiches.
