AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — A family fall festival and blood drive will take place at Mount Vernon Baptist Church on October 26, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1930 Olive Road.
Kids can enjoy games, snow cones, and popcorn, while a blood mobile will be on-site for donations, focusing on health issues like sickle cell anemia. Health screenings will cover blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and organ donation.
The event will also feature a trunk-or-treat.
Bernice Bogan and Edna Johnson joined Shawn to discuss the festival and an upcoming revival, featuring different ministers each night.
